Prior to founding Parkwest, Chase was a Vice President with Dakota Pacific Real Estate, a regional developer based in Salt Lake City, where he managed over 900,000 square feet of operating assets and was involved in the development, capital raising, and execution of more than 1 million square feet of commercial real estate totaling $200 million in total capitalization.

Before Dakota Pacific, Chase worked with J.P. Morgan in the Real Estate Americas group in Los Angeles, one of the largest open-ended funds in the United States, where he was responsible for acquisitions and asset management, overseeing a portfolio of multifamily, office, and retail properties valued at over $500 million on behalf of institutional clients.

Justin Hafen JH

Justin Hafen

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Prior to founding Parkwest, Justin was Director of Acquisitions at Lionel Partners, a Salt Lake City-based multifamily investment firm, where he led acquisition strategy and executed more than $52 million of value-add multifamily transactions.

Earlier in his career, Justin was a member of the multifamily investment team at Bridge Investment Group, now an affiliate of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: APO). During his tenure, Justin played an active role across the full investment lifecycle, including the sourcing, underwriting, acquisition, asset management, and disposition of more than $1 billion of value-add and affordable housing investments across major U.S. markets. He began his career in the Global Real Estate Advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas.
